On Monday, June 30, 2025, Chiang Rai Campus welcomed a training group from the Security Guards of the War Veterans Organization. The visit was part of a training program aimed at reviewing and enhancing knowledge and skills to improve the efficiency of their duties.

Water Rescue Training
During May 1-19, 2023, Chiang Rai Campus had an opportunity to serve a group of 40 water rescuers from Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Chiang Rai Provincial Administrative Organization.

Community Partnership for Safety
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities asks for our collective efforts to “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.” In arrive at that end, Chiang Rai Campus, University of Phayao, partnered with the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Division of the Chiang Rai Provincial Administrative Organization to annually train disaster prevention and mitigation officers from various provinces in the northern part of Thailand so that they have ample and better knowledge and skills to deal with potentially disastrous calamities in their respective communities.
